Resources in Spanish and Portuguese: Engaging Hispanic/Latinx People in Recovery

The New England MHTTC hosted a webinar on February 10th called "Inspiring and Engaging Hispanic/Latinx People in Recovery by Using Motivational Interviewing Principles" that discussed how to facilitate hope and develop skills that will assist the recovery journey of Hispanic/Latinx people with lived experience by using motivational interviewing principles. This presentation was translated into both Spanish and Portuguese in efforts to produce inclusive materials for our New England region.

Help us help others promote an affirmative, inclusive, and recovery-oriented message for Hispanic/Latinx individuals living with mental health conditions. These culturally inspired cards are designed to provide a message of encouragement and hope and include an explanation of the importance of culture in the recovery process and overall wellness. These cards can be downloaded and printed for use by mental health practitioners, peer providers, individuals with lived experience, and family members to encourage the discussion of recovery and combat stigma. These cards are available for download in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
