It can be challenging to differentiate what is pathology and what is culture. In this talk clinical recommendations will be presented on how to accurately assess different symptom constellations with patients from different cultural backgrounds. Emphasis is given to specific applications of the Cultural Formulation Interview and these are illustrated with concrete examples.
